In order to join the EmpowereD Girls Collective, potential members must meet the following criteria: 

1. EmpowereD Girls must be Connecticut Residents  

2. EmpowereD Girls must possess a current primary Educational Diagnosis of Specific Learning Disability/Dyslexia  

3. Receive Individualized Support via current IEP or 504 plan  

4. EmpowereD Girls must be between the ages of 10-12 years old  

5. Have an adult primary care-giver who is able to participate in all components of the program alongside their EmpowereD Girl  

6. EmpowereD Girls enter the program identifying clinical need based on Dyslexia impacting Emotional Wellness  

7. Potential EmpowereD Girls must complete a brief screening assessment with Elizabeth A. DeConno, LCSW, LICSW
